It is a simple and practical way to help us use more of (and connect more deeply with) our own source and essence. Reiki can be used as a tool for personal growth, as a healing technique and as a regular spiritual practice. You will generally feel a pleasant sensation of warmth, or a gentle tingling in the area being treated. As the energy comes into balance, stress and tension is released and there is a deep sense of relaxation and well being. Reiki compliments most forms of treatment and medication. It is a healing energy in the truest sense, restoring wholeness and health, releasing negative emotional states, reducing stress and bringing natural balance to the whole person.

 

Anyone can learn Reiki, no special abilities, knowledge, experience or beliefs are necessary, only a desire to learn. One of the greatest treasures and challenges of Reiki is its simplicity.
