Judy Bowen-Jones is a Licentiate of Acupuncture – trained in the classical traditions of Chinese Medicine.
She also has a Diploma in Swedish Massage and often uses therapeutic massage techniques to complement her acupuncture treatments for musculo-skeletal disorders, such as back, neck or shoulder pain.
Judy graduated from the International College of Oriental Medicine (ICOM), East Grinstead, having completed a 4 year full time BSc Honours BAAB accredited Degree Course in Acupuncture.
She is a Registered Member of the British Acupuncture Council (the registering body for professional acupuncturists), complies fully with their Codes of Practice and is insured by them.
Prior to training as an acupuncturist, Judy obtained a BSc Honours Degree in Biological Sciences and a Masters Degree in Parasitology & Immunology. Subsequently, she worked for several years in senior management roles in Western healthcare companies and as a Marketing & Management Consultant to small businesses.
Judy also practices at The Holloway Acupuncture Clinic, Blackness Road, Crowborough and at the ICOM Acupuncture Clinic, East Grinstead, where she also works as a part time Marketing Consultant to the ICOM College Management Team.
An approved speaker to the East Sussex Federation of Women’s Institutes, Judy frequently gives talks to local community groups about Acupuncture and health.
