Osteopathy is a recognized system of diagnosis and therapy established in 1874 by American Doctor Andrew Taylor Still.
Cranial Osteopathy works with the body's innate expression of a gentle rolling motion that is palpable to a trained therapist. Where the body has been subject to physical or emotional trauma there is a noticeable difference in the expression and this guides the therapist as to where to focus treatment, enabling the body to make subtle but powerful changes. It is these changes that bring the body back into a state of balance and health.
