We have taken the actions below to make our centre environmentally friendly!
We hope to inspire other individuals to take action and make just a few changes to make their environment greener and cleaner!
We are open to suggestion and comments.
Actions taken:
- We use 100% renewable electricity (EDF Green Energy)
- Virtually every sheet of A4 is used twice before recycling
- Low energy light bulbs are in use wherever possible
- We recycle our printer cartridges and other waste materials
- We have reduced heating temperature by 2 degrees
- We use recycled paper & envelopes, couch paper, paper hand towels and toilet paper
- 90% environmentally friendly cleaning product are used
- We collect rain water for window plant boxes and hanging baskets
- The majority of products sold in our shop are environmentally friendly
