Cranio Sacral Therapy
This is a deeply relaxing, light touch therapy that helps a very wide range of problems. It works with the whole body but specifically with the craniosacral system , involving the cranium, spine, sacrum and the dural tube ( a membrane that covers the brain, spine and sacrum) containing the important craniosacral fluid. Listening to its rhythm can indicate where blocks exist in the body and 'energy cysts', which are places of original trauma.
What can it help
Some common problems such as: back pain, sciatica, low energy, migraines, jaw (TMJ) problems, neuralgia, arthritis, menopausal problems,learning difficulties, high/low blood pressure, stress, Babies: post birth trauma, colic, Children's ailments such as hyperactivity.
How is it performed
Clients lay fully clothed on a treatment couch in a relaxed environment. Initial testing begins with gentle touch and feeling the cranial rhythm. This helps clarify where blocks exist in the body to assess treatment as well as an aid to relaxation.
