NAET for Allergies
Personal Profile
Armaity is married with two children, and first became interested in studying complementary therapies
when searching for a more natural and holistic solution to the healthcare of her children; in particular
her son who had chronic asthma and severe food allergies.
Armaity has been an accredited Bowen Technique practitioner since training at the European School of
Bowen Studies. She also qualified as a NAET allergy treatment practitioner from the NAET Academy.
Prior to being a complementary therapist, Armaity gained a Masters degree in development economics
and worked in London as an analyst.
The Bowen Technique
The Bowen Technique is a relaxing, yet highly effective therapy for muscular/skeletal pain relief and
also for organic disorders.
It is a gentle, non intrusive therapy suitable for everyone, from babies to the elderly, and from the fit
sportsperson to the very ill.
A treatment can take up to an hour and can be performed through light clothing.
The practitioner uses fingers and thumbs on precise points and uses rolling moves which stimulate the
muscles and soft tissue of the body. After each set of moves, the body is allowed to relax and respond
to the treatment and begin the process of self healing.
The treatment is not a form of massage with no heavy manipulation or use of oils.
NAET for Allergies
Anyone can have allergies to anything at any point in their life, ranging from mild ailments to severe
disorders.
In 1983, American Dr Nambudripad, who herself had several allergies, discovered a method of allergy
testing and allergy elimination known as NAET. This technique is natural, non invasive, and treats the
entire body holistically. It uses a blend of energy balancing techniques with acupressure, kinesiology
and nutrition to test and treat the client. One allergen is treated at a time in a precise order to build the
immune system to gradually overcome the allergy.
